didn’t know there was a US distributor, I should be saving around 300 bucks over Carf price.

Doesn't looks like they don't have stock and just order from electron like most places do now.

Have you ever talk to Greg to know what he has in stock???

Anyway He has lots of parts….just not the complete set, even the factory build them as order …plus if you go to events like I do….Greg and Jenni go to practically to all large events, he always have parts on hand, which can be a life saver.

Wired up my Rebel Pro with the PB Maxi premium easy to work with and just better wire than the premium wire.

I wired up my max with the premium, which I believe is 22awg. The Maxi should be 20awg which is always a fight to get into servo housings. When I use 20awg I push the servo connectors in with a tiny flat head screw driver.

PB Maxi goes in the plastic housings easily because of the thinner insulation coating. It’s only the Pos/Neg that is 0.5 the signal is sae as Premium 0.35.
I use Maxi on all models now, even my Rebel Hot.

Maxi has been out of stock for a while. I’m using 22 and 20 awg from Hansen Hobbies the 22 works perfectly I’ve been using it for years now but the 20 is always a different story. I’ve never used the PB wire and wanted to do the Max with it but with no time frame on when it was getting back in stock I started with what I’ve always used. On my pro I used 22 all through but with the Max I wanted to go 20 or pb maxi for the longer length to the tail.

I used the premium in many large jets….the MAX didn’t exist at first so the premium was used with no problems at all…I do use Max now days but if it would become unavailable I would have no problem using the Premium…..

I used Max only for servo’s and still use premium for everything else….

On the Max wires the Red/Bleu is bigger while the signal is the same size as the Premium

Hmm I have a roll of the premium I originally got for the Max but was advised I should go bigger for the tail servos.
I have some maxi on order but no exact date when it’s coming, so I either wait and stop the build, continue fighting with this 20awg or use the premium I have on hand 😩

Manny at Aeropanda has a good supply of everything we, the Jet community, use. I should have suggested Aeropanda first thing . Sorry, Kenrico and Manny.
Like Dave said, there isn't an issue with assembly into the pin, the insulation coat is softer and thinner than the Premium wire, and if anything, it's harder to much a good crimp on the signal wire without bending the pin fitting, too much making it harder to slide into the plastic housing.
Merry Christmas

Hey y’all ,
did the Maiden plus 3 more flights on the Max Yesterday.
K235 has ridiculous amounts of power for the max( too much in my opinion. A 210 would probably be better suited for my small flying area), it cruises around at maybe 1/4 or a tad over. At 1/2 throttle its hauling!
flies awesome! A little more fine tuning and its gonna be perfect!
ill post the full video of the maiden!

Now you can do those standing figure eights, then you'll see why you need such power, mine does it at 3/4 throttle quite easliy a standing eight.
Glad to hear everything worked out smoothly and yes a half-throttle they fly quite fast but just sip the fuel . With all that extra power maybe you can load up a smoke tank since there's power to spare.

Kenrico,
Congrats on the maiden flight! I also have the KT235 and I think it's perfect. I weighed in at 55.1lbs full of fuel, ready to fly during the LTMA check flight, and my field elevation is a little over 6000 feet. I'm not a speed freak but I like to be able to maintain speed on the uplines, add a 95+ deg day, and I may see a large degradation in performance. Still, for 95% of my flying the KT235 is the sweet spot for me...love the Max!

thanks! Mines CG’d with a bit of fuel is around 48 lbs. I could have probably saved another 3/4 to a 1lbs if I had mounted the batteries in the removable nose cone. It’s a big bird so 1 pound or 2 more shouldn’t be too noticeable. Hopping to take it out tomorrow again for some more flights. Like you say I also think the 235 is gonna be the sweet spot, I just got to get used to it some more.
