"Certainly got confused which carb adjustment is the fast and which is the slow jet so with the engine inverted and looking into both screws I assumed the fast is the upper and the slow is the lower....

did you ever have problems keeping your engine mount bolts tight on the Storch? I seem to have sorted it now, but had to make some changes. Storch is a very docile flier ehhhh?

So... I have had my "re-conned" engine flying on the Blackhorse Fieseler Storch. It flies well, the engine suits this model, as mentioned by Tyor, but there is quite a bit of cowl trimming to do!!

Don't think so. The engine that quit on me was from AMR. The engine that is running fine (so far) in the Waco is from Hobbyking. Only difference so far has been the purchase costs.

Yeah, possible I guess, although it did not seize and there is no evidence of overheating. It's almost as if the scoring in the barrel has been caused by debris entering the combustion...
