I had one of those Tacon 110 motors on a 17x10...

I had one of those Tacon 110 motors on a 17x10 prop. I'm pretty sure I had it on 8S 5000mAh pcks. I was getting around 6+ mins out of it. Probably could get a few more minutes of flight time but...

I don't have mine anymore but I had mine setup...

I don't have mine anymore but I had mine setup for electric running on I think either 8S or 10S. As far as I recall, I was able to fit them in under the hatch area. It was a tight fit but I got them...

I tried that recently as I wanted to get a new cowl... No such luck. The store manager I spoke to, who also flies at the same field I do, said he can't order the parts any more.

I'm in the same boat as RBean... I want to get this kit but don't want to pay for retracts I won't be using.

Since you said they are junk, can you explain what specifically are bad...

I can't wait for this to hit the states either. I saw it at the AMA show and was amazed how scale it looks. Perfect size without the "extra" weight (ala ESM).

I know someone who works at Hobby...
