I am an electric guy and was wondering if one of you folks can measure for me the area inside the top hatch where the air tank goes L x W x H . Wondering if lipos will fit without modifying the airframe.
Thanks
Thanks

I don't have mine anymore but I had mine setup for electric running on I think either 8S or 10S. As far as I recall, I was able to fit them in under the hatch area. It was a tight fit but I got them in there.

I had one of those Tacon 110 motors on a 17x10 prop. I'm pretty sure I had it on 8S 5000mAh pcks. I was getting around 6+ mins out of it. Probably could get a few more minutes of flight time but never really pushed it.

I realize this thread is dated but here goes. My BH FW190 has been sitting since I acquired it in 2016. Finally got around to working on it and maiden ed today. I reinforced the gear wells and firewall. I am a electric guy so I installed a Rimfire 120 on 6S, 17x8 prop. I also swapped out the stock retracts for EFlite 60-120 85 degree. Flies real nice. Any who I am an old guy and missed the runway on my second flight and put here on her back. The canopy is toast. It was cracked right out of the box. Would like to find an after market canopy of better quality. Any suggestions? It measures 19" in length.

Bummer on the toast.
Saw the message and wanted to wish you well in your search. Sounds like a sweet bird. Can't help on the canopy.

Found a NIB BH fw 190 a couple of months back, got about a dozen flights from it then retired it to the hanger for some paint and detail, moved the cowl back about 3/4'' and notched it over the wing, added 4'' larger wheels then made up a new more scale size FG gun hood, the plane flies really well I thought it deserved the mods, it's electric and flies on 6s 5000 bats and a 15 x 8 3 blade prop

Looks like you have her flying great. Also looking great. My FW 190 is a little more "war weary" but still flies great. Spring Air retracts and a DLE 30 that is more power than needed, but needed the nose weight anyway.
Watching the video I was waiting for you to go around, but made it in anyway with no runway to spare.

Another video of the FW
I put a foam pad over the mic and it's cut down on a lot of unwanted wind noise , it seems to work, also gave the camera a bit of zoom

Made up a 1/8 ply wood fan for the FW, painted it then attached it to the original center ring and spokes that are already there on the cowl, I think it looks more scale than before

limodune, looking good. I like the fan. Had mine out to the field yesterday, but too much cross wind to risk it. I've learned I don't have to fly if the conditions are too bad. Planes last longer that way.
