Agreed, that they are not a tight fit, but it doesn`t seem to be an issue.
Will have to see in a few 100 hours if there is any wear.

I have installed the engine in nylon mounts, and they take up an incredible amount of the vibration of the engine.......I could almost say...

I would weigh a muffler, and better balancing for less vibration if possible, highest on the list.
