I run fuse tank into wing tank into header. Wing tank has better geometry for a final tank and I don't like the idea of pulling fuel uphill as would be the case if you went wing to fuse to header.

This is why I run my main tank into wing tank into header. I don't use felt clunks and never end up with air in my header tank. It is better for fuel to be running from a higher tank to a lower tank-...

My opinion.....the wing tank is a better geometry especially for vertical manoeuvres and for me making a couple of connections is not a big problem. That's what I run with but I go top tank to wing...

RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video

Hi Paul,

Another thing I considered is that having the fuel flow from top tank to wing tank is better from a hydrostatic pressure perspective....not having to pull fuel up hill against G-loads...

RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video

I have never used crow on either of my flashes (classic and ultra).....the classic has always slowed down well using elevator trim to get the nose high and the flaps/spoilers generate plenty of drag....

RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video

HI Dave,

Thanks for the feedback. The gps has been remarkably consistent so it is not as if there has been one aberrant reading. Pretty sure it is on the mark.

Regards,

Craig.
