Inner tube goes into the bellmouth and is fastened with screws. Bell mouth is secured to fuse with L brackets. Outer tube is secured to a former in the fuse as Dave explained.

What happens is the nose pitches up 20+ degrees...

What happens is the nose pitches up 20+ degrees and the plane climbs. It makes it a challenge to feed in enough down elevator to level the plane for landing. I just had this happen to me recently...

That is really pushing it. I had a 160sx, which gets better fuel consumption and I was nearly empty after 7 min of mild throttle usage.

When you pull on the Robart airlines do they come off? I use BVM airlines (clear) for brakes which are as flexible as Robart and haven't had it come off or get kinked.

From my experience, the best way to cure the bounce is reduce flaps and hold the elevator. Sorry about the ding, but I am sure you'll have it looking like new in no time.

I've had a couple of take offs like that on my old Flash. Sucks if you're flying off a runway that is only 40' wide. :). I installed a gyro for the nose wheel on my Ultra Flash. Works like a charm.

I removed 2 cells from the battery in my Jersey Modeler filler and haven't had an issue with the Flash tanks since.
