LOL...You are right...I like all jets with big engines...They just perform better ...I guess we wouldnt by a corvette with a 6 cylinder hah...

my opinion 30lbs is the perfect size for this plane to be the most dynamic...but dave proved that they also fly good with 22 lbs also...i think there were several who were flying classic flashs with...

Yep i backed off a little on my full flaps too...Same on the ultra lightning....Would come in with less throttle and was able to hold the nose off much better...My opinion its the best sport jet in...

not bad could have been worse...plane is built like a tank...yes with the full flaps throttle management is requiered..i never chop power on the flash or lightning until one wing length..flare and...

yes i do...i just wipe out the inside with some windex to remove any dust ...just make sure the temp where your painting is about 60 degress or more...spray thin coats...you may need 3 or so...now it...

i use the valspar textured paint...you can get it anywhere...wallmart ,home depot....really finishes it off nice....pat

sorry i misread your post for landing flaps...yes dave wilshires setup is the same as mine...its works out to be 90mm or around 4inchs for landing flap...your 45mm will be your takeoff flap...wow...

Paul no worries on slowing down the flash...no bad habbits...it stalls straight in.. it will slow down nicely..don't be afraid of slowing it down..this plane reacts awesome in the landing...

That was a great landing..you have lots of room so you can land with little more speed...just lower your down wind and then you will be slower. When you hit final..drag it in...

:Dmy flash was loaded up ...interior paint ,pilot cockpit,big engine,powerbox, etc..flew perfect...you can put bricks in the flash and it will fly good...lol
