I had a 100 powered Bandit and 100 powered...

I had a 100 powered Bandit and 100 powered flash.. both were Plenty fast and flew off grass. Alas, my old eyes struggle with them these days, but sure loved that flash. Its fast, tough, slows down...

Back in the day we dialed thrust and used a radar.. we hit 200 with 22 lb thrust in a flat out blast with out the bypass.. so it will fly on 22lb P80 all day nicely.. It will fly on a 100 size...

Get both :).. but you will come back to the flash.. its point and shoot.. it flies just as slow, and faster, climbs better, turns about the same, but is a helluva lot tougher on those tough landing...

Agree.. however, if you want to, you can cut a large soda straw and slide it over the tygon.. works greatcut it about an inch short at each end.. it performs the same function as inserting tubing but...

Vic, there are several guys flying with 20lb motors.. the UF is a slick plane.. I saw a P100 in a friends here and it did well. it was light and in the bypass

maiden panic normal...good plan....then let them go through the plane and transmitter... they will often catch something you missed.. I do the same.. a couple of my very experienced buddies usually...

Gus, I was an F-16 guy, so no pitching carrier decks in my history, but night IFR landings were tough enough.. I would think the only thing more stressful than a 50,000 lb controlled crash into night...

DrV, most jets with a nose gear door pitch down with the gear.. try a 3-4% up elevator mix to the gear switch when the gear is down...
