That's not the worst day at the field...Worst day at the field is when you return home with only one piece...and it could be the turbine lol.

Careful running your pump when the engine @ IDLE.. this can cause the smoke oil to catch fire and cause a flame out.

Yes I did one with full bypass works ok..the only problem was the residual thrust was too high for the small field I flew from...so i sold the Jet and keep the engine.

Well the K-170 high residual thrust (idle Thrust) which kept it flying. Farview field was perfect because of the long and low approach without trees to deal with.. I always make sure I have a good...

Any Jet will tip stall if it gets too slow and try to flare..I only had 5 flight on the Ultra Flash and never experince any tip stall because I fly it or any other jet all the way to final..I do...

Just reading where youre having trouble with the buzzing flaps..Setup 0 flaps with 1/8 clearance from where the back of the flaps meet the wing then sub-trim the flaps close as posible to meet the...

No problem after 4 flights ;) also my HOTSPOT used the same type of tank,,but doesn't have any baffle built-in . In fact my ultra flash was the first ive seen to use a baffle, not sure it make sense...

Had the same problem when I remove the rod all the way out. I just push my hand inside the nose and straighten the tube while pushing the rod until it went through ;)

So sorry to see what happen, saw the whole thing. I do remember seeing you taking off with (Takeoff flaps) and i'm wondering if that could be a contributing factor base on how quicky it gain altitude...

At post 1885..that's the problem I was talking about. My fix was to shorting the spring by removing 4 rings and it fix the problem alittle but I might have to remove 4 more ;).

Wow! so sorry that happen man [:o] I learn somethings about Maiden flight. (1) Do not maiden any plane infront of crowds unless its not your plane (2) never start your engine until all preflight...
