30Lbs is more than enough.. Trust Me... I've talked to some that actually dialed their 30lb'ers down a few thousand RPM to keep them "legal". The plane is a blast but gets small very quick..

Dave,
Using the gear that came with the plane. The Behotec retact units and the newly designed struts we all had to grind and modify to get to work...;)
