Some of the to do items were accomplished, the rest will be done tomorrow, I got the elev and rudd servos wired and adjusted.

Looks like I have enough extensions, my 5K mah 2c LIPO fits inside the nose perfectly, looks like I have to cut a small portion of the wings trealingedge to accommodate the engine, I weighted the fuse and wing, no hatch, no main gear, it came out to 18 lbs, add 2 pounds for the main gear, Monokote, hatch, 2 LIFE batts, canopy, flaps ailerons for a total of 20 lbs dry weight and the tail art for this airplane, soon I will send Callie Graphics an email with the request

More extentions install work done, I still have to install the switches, canopy, bottom engine cover and a few other minor details.

Looks like my switches are on the way, I still have to do a bunch of things on the fuse before it is ready for flight.
Work will continue on Tuesday I think, some times is good to walk away for a few days to be able to see things clearly, like what should I work on next.

I got the switches and I picked up a HS programmable servo from the LHS on my way home today, this servo will replace the retract valve servo, I will set the ends so it can move the retract valve from end to end, the servo that is on the retract valve is analog, is on chl 10 which is not proportional ( can't adjust the ends )

Well, the Hitec programmer that I have is not for the D series servos, I'm goin to check with the LHS tomorrow, I hope they have a programmer for the D series servo, good thing is that it is only $20 and I'm going to be using it more than a few times.

My new programmer is on the way, I replaced the retract servo already, it only needs programming now, I found a place where I can hang the receiver and a place for the ECU batt, the batt switches will need a try so, time to build it.

The good thing about the D485HW servo is that it is inexpensive but digital and can be programmed, 85 oz of torque, carbonite gears and it can be powered up to with a two cell LIPO.

I end up making the on/off switches try removable, the switches and receiver are mounted, the ECU batt has been place so it can be removed to charge ( 2C LIPO ) with this done the fuse only needs the LIFE batts to complete the install.

Tomorrow I will start work on the wing.

It looks it will need about 16 oz of ballast to bring the CG to the 7" mark, estimated dry weight is about 21 lbs, the plans call for a 20 to 22 lbs dry weight, that's with a 13 lbs funsonic that weighed around 2 lbs, the P80 is 3.2 lbs.

I finally got the DPC-11 programmer, I'm not a computer wizard by any means but, I manage to get the software installed and running without a problem and now I'm programming my first D series Hitec servo.

The programming and familiarization took about 10 min, very easy software to fallow.

Very happy with the results, now I can make chls 9 and 10 proportional on my 10 CAP, I will be getting a few more D series servos here soon.

Oh yeah! I was surprised when I open the shipping box to see such a small device.

Doing some work on the wing and a massage has been sent to Callie Graphics for the graphics, I have to send it about a month before it is ready for flight.

I had a chance to fly at my field late this afternoon, high clouds, no wind and no one else at the field, not a jet this time, having the field to myself was nice and.....very quiet, 3 flights and this airplane is ready for the war birds meets, tomorrow will be jet time.

when I was locking the main gate doors I noticed this cow looking at me very steady, I felt like she was saying, Hey man! Where have you guys been?

A perfect afternoon to continue covering the wing, specially those small, hard to reach corners.
