RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

Appears you have it dialed in. I also added the swastika for added realism. Have you considered adding a cockpit interior. I installed a Ty manufactured one and it takes if further torward the...

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

Is the plane tunring or rolling to the left. If it is rolling then you have either a horizontal empanage misalignment or wing alignment. The wing and stabilizer must be aligned to oneanother. I just...

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

First thing is to do the math. Won't be the first time the numbers are off. In the case of this model the numbers are correct. I set mine at 27%. If your using the supplied landing gear assembly...

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

All that is required is too shorten them by using a milling machine. I modified mine and they work great. Use Robart tire and wheel assemblies.

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

I installed a Ty cockpit intended for the ESM FW190. The tub sides and floor will have to modified and the side consoules eliminated. The instrument panel will also need minor triming of the left and...

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

Each to his own. You like ESM and I don't. This is like the Ford/Chevy debate. I end my discussion and thank you for the history lesson.

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

Your right I do bash them and I should also include KMP or are they not one of the same. ESM/KMP had no competion and don't forget their origional pricing. Along comes another company that will and...

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

I'm glad you like this model. The BH model line is slowly evolving and will eventually outsell the ESM line. Can't wait untill they release a FW190D or ME109.

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

I'm not going to depate this with you or anyone else. It's a matter of aerodynamics and nothing else. Airframe design parameters have not changed but they have evolved since 1982.

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

On a scale of 1-10 these are a -10. The pair supplied with the ARF were even rusted. Go to a Hobby People outlet that has this ARF available and see for yourself. I have a set of of Robarts and...

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

Sorry to tell you this but the retracts are junk. I tossed them and installed ESM electric retracts. The strut lenght on the ESMs are too long since they were designed for the ESM FW190. If you have...

RE: Black Horse Models FW190 A8 70

I flew alone so no video. The manufactured advertised the airframe at 10.5lbs. This I assume was with an engine installed probably a 1.2FS. I did not weight this model but I would guess about 13lbs....
