Chad,
That would be great, I can mail you the original diagram that came with it, 1/16" thick would work great to fit the bezels.
I would need 2 of them, just let me know how much.

Thanks
Larry

Update time,
Got the panels painted except for the top pieces which I will do after the cockpit is installed.
One of the bag of parts, can't find my fine paint brush so will stop at Hobby Lobby on my way home from work and pick up a couple of sizes.
Our friend Chad has offered to cut me 2 inst. panels for my Iflytallies instruments

Larry,

This reminds me of the time I spent going through all the parts. Very time consuming.

Ok guys, here's an update...slow but steady LOL
Since I wasn't happy with the inst, panels that came with the cockpit kit Our friend Chad cut 2 out of G10.
I bought 2 sets of 1/5 scale Trojan inst from I Fly Tallies.. a bit pricey but worth it, you will notice 2 missing bezels which I received last week.
Still have some painting and stuff to finish on the side panels but almost there.
Will order paint for the plane next week and am also thinking of 1.8mm green LED's for the landing gear position lights...depends on how much I think I can get away with the wife so this may be my FINAL post...LMAO

Tell him Boyd, with that "Huge Wide Open See All Canopy" this is the ONE TIME where cost serves no purpose. Smile. Looks Great. Chic

Could not have said it better Chic.

I was looking at the "other" site for the Vixen. That is making progress.

Thanks Boyd, I and other modelers need those kinds of words of encouragement at times. I do. Larry will come around when he is finished with the T-28 and is at the field and everyone is circled around and bent over looking into that cavernous clear plastic covered hole in the top of his model inspecting carefully and critically, every inch/section of the cockpit and not looking at the other outstanding examples of his craftsmanship. Smile. Excuse me - need to make a trip to the bathroom. Chic

Okay guys,
Update time.
Here are a couple of shots of the landing gear lights put into the forward instrument panel.
1.8MM LED'S, 3 volt.....
Hoping to order (and hide the credit charge) the paint today.... Just trying to figure out what the grief factor will be when wifey gets the next card statement

Update time,
So paint arrived yesterday FS Colors in spray cans, tried it on the cowl and canopy frames.
Paint seems a little thin even though the color looks good...
Wife is going to kill me when I have to order 2 more cans of the yellow

Okay guys, update time,
Paint is finally finished, wasn't happy with the yellow as it was way to thin, ended up using 5 cans, green covered a thousand times better.
Tomorrow is wing tip light wiring and start on installing cockpit depending on the temp in the garage, over 85 is a bit tough to spend too much time

Hey Larry - Is there a full scale model you are modelling? If so, I want to see a full picture of your air frame. The paint you say may be thin, but it is going on very well. Looks Great. Alright - Alright - Alright. Chic

Progress, except for filling in some spots around the 2 inst. panels cockpit is almost done.
Hoping the garage stays below 94 so I can get more than 15 mins at a time in.

Woooooo - I Like, I Like. Nice work and the paint scheme makes the instrument panel really stand out. With that canopy, a fair amount of time is required to get that cockpit looking good. I'll ask the Temperature Gods, to lower the heat at least for a couple of days. I'll also as for the Rain Gods here to let up but its back to the 90+ for the next week or so. We can't catch a break Brother. Chic
