Well, mine arrived tonight - big box. I ordered it from Hobby People about one month ago. I didn't expect it until late October!
It was not available on their website when I ordered it - I called them and asked them to get it for me.
The finish is very clean, albeit too shiny; nothing that some flat clear coat won't fix. I also got a DLE 20 cc from Tower for this bird. Looking forward to getting this done!
woot

And the funny upper gun hood/cowling contours are from the Fluwerke Russian engined 190A-8N variant, so you can get good docs for a scale paint job too...

The spinner did not look right to me so I ordered a chrome spinner (shame it is only two blade) from skysharkrc.com in AZ.
The new spinnner is a bit bigger and the right shape (look at the more rounded nose in the side by side pic) and it now looks quite right for this plane. Yeah it is chrome, but let's imagine this FW-190 was owned by an idiosyncratic ace!

If you coat it you will not be able to use covering iron, e.g. for wrinkles.
I have the same covering on the VQ FW-190 60, and used scotch-brite to scuff it up and some alcohol to remove the shine and get some weathering effects.

Scothbrite scour pad is soo crude.
I use a light misting of clear automotove paint. Just use a fine airbrush and go slowly. It produces a much better finish.
Exams are over, so now I can focus on the 190.
Will start with the cockpit area soon. Engine still undecided on the MVVS30 or the new RCGF 40 Twin....
