Default Recommendation for 1/12 704 warbird plans or short kit

Looking for a home for my Magnum .15. I'm looking for something that has a canopy readily available (parkflyer plastic?) so I don't have to make one and something with a streamlined nose (mustang?) so I don't have to worry about a cowling.

Any ideas on short kits or plans that fit the bill?

I had good luck with the Arsenal VG-33 from RCM plans. Lazerworks.com has a short kit. The plans are available on Outerzone. It uses a Sig WWII canopy. A fast stable flier, just don't over do it with the elevator. I've had 3 Arsenals and a half dozen other 1/12 scale warbirds and they all could be induced into a high speed snap roll with too much elevator.

If you can find a set of Gus Morfis plans all his designs fly very well.

I don't know if anyone is selling Morfis plans anymore. They can still be found on the secondary market. The P-40 is a good flier. I couldn't find a canopy so I just built it out of balsa and simulated the plexiglass with silver paint. If you can find one Pica made some nice 1/12 laser cut kits. The FW-190 and the Zero really needed a .25 to fly well though.
